Westerly Hospital offers smoking cessation program

The Westerly Hospital is offering the "Freedom from Smoking" program beginning Sept. 4 in the hospital's Nardone Conference Center. The seven-week program will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It will be facilitated by the hospital's respiratory therapists trained in the American Lung Association program. Participants will learn tools and strategies to recover from tobacco addiction and help them quit for good. The cost is $25 per participant to cover the cost of materials.
