Approximately $15,000 worth of tobacco was stolen from a barn in Norwich Township sometime overnight Wednesday, September 26. Oxford County OPP is investigating the theft of tobacco bales from the farm on Maple Dell Road.

 Nine (9) 340-kilogram bales were removed from a tobacco-processing barn on the property. Tobacco farmers are currently in the process of drying and shipping their harvest and police are asking citizens to watch for suspicious people and vehicles around local farms late at night.
